“Hey, everybody!”
Painted the top and right side of my computer today, and painted & clearcoated the buttons. That leaves a window to cut, side panel to paint, and front piece to possibly drill 40 holes in and paint, and a hell of a lot of clearcoating.
Plus all that other crap I listed yesterday.
Oh, well – at least this project is seminearlydone after 2 years of non-progress.
So now the drying pieces of painted metal are in my room, with the window closed, as I saw a Mysterious Fog™ roll in as I finished paintng them… so I’m getting a bit dizzy
Cool tip of the day: Windows XP can print to an IPP printer server with no extra software. So Macrohard is complying with a standard… that they didn’t write… AND you can set up a Linux printer server with only CUPS – no Samba required.
To close out, I opened my drawer today to change the batteries in my “laser” pointer, and found a slightly exploded button cell – the top was bulging, and the blue plastic seal around the bottom had sort of erupted a bit on one side:
