Whilst Skyping with Lori on Sunday, a loud Click was emitted somewhere in my room. After my PB slowed to an ungodly slowness, dropped the Skype connection 3 times, and gave me the Spinning Pizza of Death, I rebooted the machine.
Which promptly asked me where the System Folder was. So I need a new Hard Drive.
Fortunately, I was smart enough to pick up AppleCare while still in the 1-year window to do so, so the machine is currently at Computer Systems Centre downtown, being repaired. It’s been there since Monday, but they said they had a few in the queue, so I hope I find out soon. This is too long to go without a Mac.
Also, I kind of look like an idiot, wearing my “I Hack My Mac” T-shirt with no Mac to Hack.
